Solution Architect

As a Presales Solutions Architect, you are part of a diverse small Sales and Marketing Team within a leading internationally advanced technology managed services provider, working with varied customers in a diverse number of sectors (e.g., Finance, Manufacturing and Retail).

The role is to lead their presales solutions and projects, working very closely with their Customer Success and technical based teams. As their Solution Architect your advice and guidance will develop and deliver proposals to assist the sales team to win new business from current and prospective customers.

Responsibilities:

• Solution architecture and technical lead in the following:

o Managed IT Services.

o Cyber Security solutions and services.

o IT Infrastructure (primarily IBMi Power & Storage).

• Providing expert technical knowledge and professional guidance across their pre-sales process working alongside their Technical Services team through to the implementation stages within varied sized projects.

• Requirement gathering, scoping and quality management. Having a key understanding to ITIL, ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 practices, applying appropriate due diligence to the approvals and governance process.

• Accountable for the successful handover to the Service Delivery team and the accuracy of the design specification to installation. Provide market and sales feedback.

• Working closely with key internal teams and their clients directly, identifying technical and business requirements, with problem-solving and innovative designs, ability to answer technical questions and queries across your client base.

• Any other duties as needed or required by the business. Such other relevant duties may be assigned by the Manager in agreement with you. Such agreement should not be unreasonably withheld.
