Project Manager

Our client are an IT Managed Service Provider who provide a range of services and solutions in Cyber Security, Networking, Infrastructure and Cloud. With offices globally, they stand at over 850 employees with 50 in the UK.

They are looking for a Project Manager to joint the existing 2 they have in the UK. This is a remote position with some travel to client site and the odd visit to their Watford office. Nearly all meetings are done via teams.

Responsibilities

• Working with partners, vendors (such as IBM, Commvault, HPE &Microsoft), clients, subject matter experts and Heads of Departments to drive and deliver client projects.

• Deliver VfM and ROI of the PMO function to clients, carefully negotiating and navigating through the implementation and migration management, including compiling and submitting project status reports as appropriate to all stakeholders.

• Manage the planning, procurement (where necessary) and execution of a project, against the client and/or business scope, from start to the agreed finish. Keeping to time, plan and budget.

• Investigate problems and proactively manage a collectively agreed solution. Carefully establish risks and impacts throughout the project lifecycle, troubleshoot as necessary.

• Clear, effective and continuous communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Manage effective project documentation, tracking, and lessons learnt. Support the after care services following execution.

• Any other duties as needed or required by the business. Such other relevant duties may be assigned by the Manager in agreement with you.

Experience

• Experience in managing Hosting and Cloud services

• Third party relationship management (partners, vendors, suppliers)

• Client relationship management within a PMO capacity

• Intercompany relationship management, understanding how to obtain the best skills and knowledge to deliver our services and client projects

• Identify client project requirements and delivery timelines

• Creating and managing project documentation, particularly understanding risks and impacts, and all related technical documentation. Including report generation

• Driving PMO management and the sound executions of complex projects to budget, including identifying and assigning project tasks-against appropriate skills, experience and strengths
